I wasn't arguing about Paris, didn't feel safe there too. In Germany there are areas I despise aswell, but never to a point where it feels dangerous or I have to call it a "no-go-zone"
Now that's not to say it can't be the case in 20years as a consequence of the current politics..

A lot of misinformation here. I live 2 km from a "no-go-zone". It is only fairly dangerous at nights, usually at Saturday nights. During daylight, I can go there, I see women jogging through the neighborhood and the surrounding forests alone. I don't see any kind of criminal activity going on. However, you need to be more careful in exceptional times as I mentioned. I made the mistake of being there Saturday night and was coming home by myself on a bike. Luckily, I didn't go through the main road because there was a shootout that day. I heard the shots and decided to take cover for a few minutes. Once it was quite again, I went home. It's a peaceful place during the day, though.
