I hope with ''you'' you did not mean me (directly), but people generally? As for me that is pretty clear.

Sweden's leaders (their socialist/leftists politicians) believes that goodness will create goodness (just like hatred will create hatred). Oh, even I believe the latter one.

Still with first one? Unfortunately nope, as humans are ungrateful, unfair, greedy, selfish even often sick creatures.

That's right, a lot of people are prone to manipulation, and it's not easy to take a stand today without being biased..

I think Sweden's political culture is one of cynicism (the party cadre - check Ett Folk, Ett Parti if you want to see what I mean - it can be found in the Swedish section) mixed with popular naivety. It is as you say that you believe that socialists believe that goodness will create goodness but that isn't the leadership but the groups below them. The leadership is just doing social engineering for the sake of staying in power.

Furthermore, I would describe Sweden as a semi-totalitarian state where there is 1) a culture of enforced silence (much like in Eastern Europe at the time), 2) the State trying to regulate the family unit as well as the language. This one shows how Sweden's democracy or even the Rechtstaat is now but a dead letter:

I'd say that Sweden has slowly turned into a soft totalitarian dictatorship (with the only thing missing directly is real state violence), much like the Eastern Block by the mid to late 1960s until 1991.

I think that Sweden is a social laboratory where demografic and cultural experiments are performed.. Sweden has the right "dimensions" ( people - area surface - few traditions - poor cultural background..) that are the ideal for this type of experiment..
The Scandinavians and east-baltic people were the last people to be civilized in Europe ( Russia is not included ) .... and therefore they have not matured the right social and cultural conscience and awareness to be a "people / nation / citizens "..
They are easy to be manipulated..
