What do people here think about climate change/global warming?

It seems a lot of people here are deniers but I dont know how representative they are of the site as a whole.

I don't deny it, that's real. The problem is the liberals who stoled this global warming thing to make political benefits for themselves: "Vote for us and we'll defend you from total apocalipse". I'm sure sometimes they exaggerate the real numbers to increase this fear factor.

It is a complicated issue. Many of the predictions were exaggerated but the more mainstream ones were actually too conservative. At the same time the only way to get people to take action would be to make it seem more immediate than it actually is. Because no one will care what happens in 100 years.

Yes. It is a slow motion train wreck. Middle East has high birthrates combined with water scarcity and high political tension. It will be a disaster when it aridifies even more.

Although some have argued that changes in the Earth's jet stream might actually bring more water to the region, but this is a far fetched possibiltiy.

This is the problem, they use a catastrophic climate agenda to push for socialism across the board.
