Turkish Armed Forces are not fighting Assad or his Russian allies as we speak but YPG terrorists. Assad does not control all of Syria. Swathes of the land is under the administration of YPG, Jihadis and similar armed gangs. Assad declared full amnesty to Syrian civilians as far as I know. With each passing day the Syrians take more and more root in Turkey but in the end of the day, their country is Syria not Turkey. This is what the government of Turkey also says officially. They need to be resettled back in Syria.

Actually Jihadis with Turkish weapons are fighting Assad and his Russian allies and the YPG.

Assad does not control all of Syria.

He will, sooner than you think.
