Kurds won't beat the Turks solo. So regroup in a safe area and team up with the Syrian government and push Turkey back across the border if they can at a later date. Sanctions can be applied anytime or revoked. Better than dying.

I don't even think they shall regroup. The Syrian army shall have 5 days to move into the area while Kurdish fighters shall move towards Idlib and grab it from the Jihadists. Meanwhile Congress shall ignore Trump and impose even more sanctions. That's what the world demands from you now anyway, not to send troops in Syria.

Thing is, sanctions don't really affect turkey a whole lot. Many countries can get around sanctions rather easily.

A typical morning on the Greek border

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Eph. 6:12

Definition of untrustworthy and loose character are those that don't believe in God.

119 properties do you have a link for that. Turkey isn't going to illegally confiscate high value property like Trump Tower there.

Depends on how deep the sanctions are and well enforced.

Yes, that's why the Iranian economy is expected to shrink by 9.5% next year, because Iran manages to get around sanctions...

There are 7 million Syrian refugees in Turkey now and creating buffer zone to settle Syrians is not invasion. Assad, Terrorists and the others need to take care of the Syrian people. If they could not simply some others would do it. Greeks must be last ones to be annoyed by Turkish military endeavor because it is well known that their country cannot bear even 10 thousands refugees.

If that is truly the purpose, returning refugees to Syria, would Assad oppose this? Would it be better to get permission from Syria to work jointly to create a buffer zone? Do Syrians want to return what is your feeling on this?
