Excluding the dobrudja immigrants and gipsy mixes there should really be little to no difference between a moldovian from south Moldova and one from Iasi, because having been both in the Kingdom of Moldova untill 1859 large majority of mixings have been done between them and tons of people from South Moldova have origin from further up.

Popa looks like a plain South-Eastern European lol. Alex Velea is clearly part gypsy and you can see it's from his dad, but there are no pics of Popa's dad to confirm. Also that third girl gives me Levant vibes more than gypsy but I guess.

I don't claim what such individuals can be 100% Gypsy in origin, but people with such traits always looks dubious to me and give this vibe. Plus in that region lives many Gypsies, so everything is posible, espceially in urban area.

Why you need his dad when his mom is gipsy admixed?Dorian Popa has clear gipsy blood.And Alex Velea looks full gipsy, not mixed.

but you cannot consider Galati to be typical Moldovan, lol. it's just at the crossroads of Wallachia, Dobrudja and Moldova, not Moldova-proper. the same as you cannot post Suceava people to be typical Moldovans.

so typical Moldovans should be Iasi, Vaslui, Ungheni, Hincesti...
