Thinking of sweden yeah, they will probably not force you to join against your will or give any reprehension if you not do so.. but you could do that one year dude its really not much lol, hanging out with friends is not so important.

Ah ok. How was it serving in the Russian army? I can imagine traning there is much harder then Swedish army but biggest reason why i dont wanna go to Swedish army is because i see it as a waste of time. I would guess that doing conscription in the Russian army is similar doing it in the Finnish army.

It is not important but it is fun. And i Think you are right about the Swedish army but the problem is the Finnish army then.

As long as you live and are registered in Sweden , the Finnish army shouldn't call you ?

As for Swedish, just don't meet up. Say you got other things to do.

Though I would go if I was you. You get some good training and fitness and you get a little money. After that you could chose to go more or get a regular job in the civil life. Having served in the army would also be a + on your CV.

Yep. Especially if military training or a proof of dismissal is required for voting, getting a passport or national ID like it is in Brazil. Since I wanted to renew my Brazilian passport but had no means to geographically move to a Brazilian military base, I had sound reason to be dismissed according to the embassy in Stockholm.

I have heard that the Swedish and Finnish army corperates and because Sweden has so many person with Finnish descent and citizenship those persons can either chose to serve in the Swedish or Finnish army. And if i refused to serve in Finland if i didnt need to serve in Sweden the Swedish police would arrest me and force me to travell to Finland.
