This is one of those classic threads. "Why do Martian women and Venus women seem so pretty and ugly, respectively?" People then post photos that support their views on the subject before they write accounts that bolster them even more. It's an endless game of confirmation bias while people selectively edit sources.

The Battle of New Orleans a year later was much more impressive as a military accomplishment. Andrew Jackson's army defeated a larger and better trained British force in less than an hour, with only 60 casualties compared to over 2000 on the British side.

There should have been a mercy rule there. The Redcoats were sitting ducks and target practice. It was like Tyson Fury boxing Justin Bieber. Cowpens, as well as Kings Mountain, were like that too.

The SAS are the best of the best. The IRA learned that the hard way. That aside, the best "English" boxers tend to be of Irish descent or other descent as can be seen with Tyson Fury. Maybe you know more about English boxers who are fully to mostly of English descent.
