Mexico or South Africa: Which country have more whites???

White Mexicans: Around 13 milion people or 9% of their population IMO althought there is no good statistics about it. You rarely see them, because they dont emmigrate.




White South Africans: Around 4.5 to 5 milion people or 8% of their population, South Africa has a census. They have a larger presence in the world because they emigrate a lot to Europe and Australia fleeing of the chaos of modern South Africa.

South Africa, the overwhelming majority of their whites are above 90% European, Mexico has 9% of whites only if you consider some euro passing Castizos as whites. Whites + Castizos in Mexico are more numerous than white South Africans though.

In my opinion, what makes country A whiter than country B is a matter of having a bigger proportion of white looking people, even if their European stock is more mixed with non-Euro elements compared to the latter.
I don't know the real percentage of white looking people in Mexico, so, I'm not sure which option to choose in the poll.

I mean all people that can pass as European, generally some persons start to look euro at 3/4 and even more look european over 80%. I know that part of castizos have an white phenotype that resembles Balkans/Romania. Other castizos just look turkish/iranian.

Exactly what you said, Im not sure what to vote too. To my eyes both countries have very similar percentages of white persons by phenotype.

Most White South Africans would go unnoticed in most of Europe due to being NW European in origin, they look much lighter than any Latin American group apart from communities of German origin.

South Africa stills win in percentage, and this can be dubbious because there is not a complete racial census in Mexico (the racial censuses only count amerindians and blacks, but do not distinguish between whites and mestizos), not in total numbers.

But the south african whites have experimented a huge exodus since the end of the apartheid and the rise of deliquency and violence in the 90´s, most of young south africans which have children are nowadays in Australia, United Kingdom or the USA, the ones that remain in South Africa are majority elderly, so they have no children at all, last year the percentage of whites respecting the total amount of births was barely a 3%

The neighbour country, Zimbabwe, collapsed economically since 2000 when the lands of the white farmers were expropiated without economic compensation by an pseudo-communist president, Robert Mugabe



This process is being slower in South Africa, but there is a hidden massacre of white farmers, that are being assasinated everyday, and the country is experiencing a big economical crisis because the deposits of gold (origin of its main city Johannesbourg) are starving now and there´s not another economical way.

But for sure the white south africans dont pass so easily in many europeans countries of the mediterranean area, Balkans, Finland and East Europe like Russia. So they also lost a good chunk of Europe.

As for white mexicans, most can pass from Bulgaria to Iberia. Some can pass even in other areas like you said, but thats a minority. Anyway, I got your point, makes sense to me too.

I consider "white" people who look white although they are genetically 10-15% non european. In my opinion Mexico have more whites not only numerically. Mexico is whiter eve by percentage. Whitenes in South Africa is overrate because whites are phenotipically are very diferent from blacks, and most of white south african whites belong to a very particular etnical group which you cant find in Europe.
