Got a phone call from the hospital today

The time for my heart valve Opp is nearly here

Scheduled for Jan or Feb


Got my pre-opp at the hospital next week...they'll give me my surgery date then
still got no symptoms
did a 7 km run on my treadmill and lifted a few free weights, plus rowing machine this morning....didnt feel tired, out of breath, nothing

Scary times...I'm gonna make up a will in the next few weeks, just in case I dont make it through surgery .. I should be OK, but with open heart surgery there are no guarantees

Seems like a fairly routine procedure with minimal complications. You'll be fine. Nice that you're making diet and exercise modifications.
