Hey guys,
Growing up, in Latin America and having some European friends. I was tolerant of prostitution, especially when it came to brothels. I saw them as a 'necessary evil' similar to how I see drinking. Well some people do it and it helps them blow off stem or get through the day, I see no evil. Of course, I was against becoming addicted like living your life obsessed with prostitutes. Based around my life experience though I saw that what would usually happen is the young men would visit a prostitute at a brothel(which was highly regulated) lose their virginity and then focus their attention somewhere else be it sports..etc. I did not see a 'moral stigma' attached to prostitution as I see in British, American, Canadian culture.
I had a lot of friends who visited prostitutes or who lost their virginity to them and then they got a serious relationship or eventually got married. It seems to me prostitution(and given how regulated it was in most of these places) did not turn them into weirdos, did not give them STD's did not make them have anger towards women..etc. To them having sex with a prostitute was about fulfilling a 'bodily need' and then moved on from it. I had an uncle who would go to brothels once every six months etc.
On other hand, it seems that opposite is the case in the countries like England, United States,Canada and other the fall in the 'anglosphere' umbrella. Here most guys are taught that sex is not about fullifing a bodily a natural need. But rather it must be accompanied by an "emotional connection" where a girl has to worship you. Otherwise you fail as man or you are a lesser man. Men are taught that those who use prostitutes are losers who can't get laid without paying.
Ironically, it seems that in the countries were prostitution is both illegal and stigmatized you get a lot guys who have get a 'twisted version' of the world. They become very asocial and start having a resentment towards women. Moreover, they become obsessed with sex. We see this with the Redpill, MGTOW, Incels..etc. You even have extreme weirdo who shoot people if they can't get laid. Even more ironically, in the countries where there's less knowledge about prostituion the guys who have sex do so without condoms since there parents were ashamed to talk about sex(I have American friends who told me about this), and even celebrated doing this, since it makes a "stronger bond." Facepalm. Putting themselves more at risk for catching STDs. You also get a lot of confrontational culture. For instance, we are seeing the BBC documentary which demonizes talking to girls as harassment...etc.
I think that British/American/Canadian cultures are very talented at certain things but they definitely messed up in this area.
