My take is that when men have illegal prostitution they have to rationalize a way as to why they need to 'chase' women for sex. That's why this whole, 'conquest' is set up. If prostitution was widely available I think this "conquest" mindset would dwindle.

But this is a closely related argument. As I would not frequent a prostitute, I am not being hypocritical when I say I prefer my children not be prostitutes.
