How do you feel bout florida?

I've often gone to Destin with my fam for the nice beaches. And I've been to Orlando many times as well. Both are very nice for obvious reasons. The main thing I love about FL Is the whataburgers though! holy fuck they are good! I wish they would establish some in my area....

Panhandle is great but way off of the path for Lafitte coming from Argentina, who would fly into Miami direct or 1 stop to FLL.

Unfortunate but true... All the years of my life I've lived in Northern Florida and I've never been further south than Sarasota...

The more relaxed, less-touristy Northern coastal areas are great, if you enjoy the outdoors and the beach.

The important thing is to stick to the coasts and avoid central Florida. The further you go from the coast and into the neighborhoods of a city, the worse the crime gets, and of course small towns in Northern Florida--and all parts of Central Florida--are Rednecky.

Pensacola area probably has the most beautiful beaches in the country, pure white sand islands.

By the way, I love Savannah, GA and Richmond is a pretty cool little city. Hope you have a great time...!

yeah that was pretty much what i was expecting, tbh i dont really care about beaches plus i'm going there in winter so there's not much more to say. I'm attracted to the southern US aesthetic so as you can see i'm trying to find places like Gainesville or Mount Dora. Anyways i really appreciate your advise

If you want the older southern Architecture bypass Miami/Lauderdale. Fly into Orlando and drive over to St. Augustine Florida. Gainesville is close also.

Love St. Augustine... my God, you guys are really making me miss Florida...

Even the Tampa area, and Tarpon Springs, as crowded as that whole area can be... there's something about Florida, man...

Yeah same with Pensacola... And you know, Pensacola was the first city in what is now the US, but St Augustine is the oldest. Both Spanish settlements. Unfortunately a hurricane destroyed all of early Pensacola so it's not got the same vibe as St Augustine architecturally.

Yep I have been to the Naval Aviation Museum there. Great historic areas and houses there.
