Why do some Poles insult Croats ?

Just noticed weird rep comment from Peterski, out of the blue and just one in line of passive-agressive comments he posted many times to insult me and my country for no reason whatsoever.

There is no Slavic unity. Poles feel closer to Serbs as both nations have history of independent realms. Croats were not fully independent for most of their history. They are used to serve Hungary, Germany, etc. That's why you feel close to Ukraine

There are tons of insulting comments from other Pole Cumansky he posted to me and other Croatian users just full of pure hate. Rethel was not far as well.

This just suprises me and it's kinda weird because Croats and Poles live far from each other, share same religion etc. Most Croats sympathise with Poles.
I do not anymore, to be honest. Had plans to visit Poland this spring but I am not really interested anymore. Will rather go to Russia. Poles don't seem like nice people based on those I met online.

Who gives a fuck? Poland has no history and nobody cares about it. It’s neighbours to the west and north are smarter and richer. It’s neighbours to the east and south have hotter women and richer cultures. A polak is an irrelevant person.

Most Poles like Croats (or are neutral because don't know much about Croats).
Actually I've never heard anything negative about Croats in Poland.
Croatia is a nice holiday destination for many Poles.
There are many Poles who visited Croatia one time and come back year after year.

But what is so wrong there?

"Poles feel closer to Serbs as both nations have history of independent realms" - I've been there, I've seen it, I can confirm it.
"Croats were not fully independent for most of their history. They are used to serve Hungary, Germany, etc." - also correct
"That's why you feel close to Ukraine" - this might be just his opinion, I don't know much about Ukraine, but Croatians have better relations with Ukrainians than Poles
