I'm a bit of a geographer by both nature and trade, so I'm always interested in where people live, what the features of the landscape are like, etc.
So, tell us what elevation you live at and if you wish, a description of what the local landforms are like. Please give your answers in both feet and metres above mean sealevel. Here's a handy conversion site:

As for me, I live at roughly 1200 feet/365 metres above sealevel. I live in a cluster of hills in east-central Vermont, on the west side of the Connecticut River. The region around here as a whole, including both eastern Vermont and western/northern New Hampshire (I live very close to the border) ranges from as low as 380'/115m at the surface of the Connecticut River to as high as 6288'/1916m at the top of Mount Washington. Around here, people rarely live above 2000'/609m as the climate at that elevation becomes too harsh for human habitation--lots of snow, short growing season, thin soils, etc.
