why does that matter to you what an average European thinks of you ? I have spent time with Turkish Turks and their way of life and behavior was more eastern (call it Muslim values if you want) then western. Food, habits, social values were all same to me myself, an Iranian person then any kind of European I know.

To me Turkey has its own Anatolian identity yes ... but so does everyone else among the Islamic family. Turkish social values are still very close to other Islamic societies compared to Europe. Now Turkey has a Islamic dictator sitting in Istanbul, what will happen in next 30-40 years is to be seen.

Nobody, literally nobody gives a second shit about what Europeans, Turkish people, in general, have a superiority complex and think they rule the world. It's foolish i know but it's the truth.

I've been to Iran and i've been to most of Europe, as for me i'd say the closest people culturally to the way i was raised in an atheist environment was the Greek family i stayed with for some months. It's been almost a decade and we still talk to each other, on the other hand, once a Palestinian guy punched me and got arrested in Germany because i told him that his prophet was a pedo and Israel is right.
