Default Are modern Levantines Arabicised Canaanites?

I mean, are they genetically Canaanites whose culture and linguistics have been Arabicised without any significant admixture from peninsular Arabs?

Christians, Druze and even some Muslim groups like the Alawaites barely have any foregin admixture outside the Levant from recent memory in contrast to Levantine Muslims like Palestinians, Jordanians and Syrians do have significant amount of Arabian, Berber, SSA and even European admixtures which makes them around more than 60% of the DNA is local Levantine while the rest is from other regions of the world. Shi3a Lebanese though have the highest amount of north-west asian admixture like Iranian and Anatolian/Caucasian while the rest are mostly from SSA and other MENA regions like Arabia and North Africa.

They don't have Amazigh (Berber) DNA. They only get modeled as part Mozabite or whatever cause of overfitting with other modern groups. Asian Arabs (Levantines, etc.) don't score any Iberomaurasian. They would score that component if they had Amazigh admixture.

I've heard that the Mozabites have the highest Maghrebi genetic component in the world. Anyway, what is your interpretation of this genetic G25 results of Palestinian and Egyptian Muslims by Aren:
Egyptians are quite close to Levantines. Using Berbers, the Canaanite samples, Armenia_EBA, Arabs, Steppe and extra African I get:

    "distance%=1.1742"

    Egyptian

    Levant_BA_North,55.4
    Mozabite,20
    BedouinB,15.8
    Dinka,8.8

Palestinians score small, but significant amount of Steppe + more Canaanite and Armenian. Also some Berber probably due to this sample having several Egpytian mixed Palestinians.

    "distance%=0.8776"

    Palestinian

    Levant_BA_North,61.8
    BedouinB,13
    Armenia_EBA,8
    Sintashta_MLBA,7.8
    Mozabite,5.2
    Dinka,4.2

I heard that Muslim Levatines have more Yamnaya admixture than the Christian ones. Might it be from Ottoman invasion?

Yes. In Palestinian Muslims, our steppe ancestry is 7.8% on average while Egyptians don't which I think it's from the early Canaanite ancestry from the 19th century BCE were found to have steppe ancestry as well.

Another question, do their SSA and North Africa admixtures come indirectly from peninsular Arabs or elsewhere?

Our SSA admixture comes directly from east-Africa while our NA admixture comes indirectly from the Egyptians where we Palestinians heavily mixed with.

I probably wouldn't use Mozabites for the Palestinian model. I would use Egyptians instead. It looks okay though. The amount of Mozabite he picks up is fairly small anyways.

The Egyptian shouldn't be getting that much Mozabite. It gets much more Mozabite than the Palestinian since its genetically closer and an overfit occurs (keep in mind Mozabites have partial Arabian ancestry they share with Egyptians in addition to other ancestries). It'd be better to use Iberomaurasian instead.

If Egyptians and Levantine had genuine Amazigh ancestry, then they would get Iberomaurasian as I stated as this is a component that all Amazigh people have in significant quantities. But they don't even get minor Iberomaurasian.

These are the results they get on my Neolithic Age calculator:

    Code:
    Target: Palestinian
    Distance: 2.6569% / 0.02656891
    Aggregated
    34.2	Levant_NF
    30.6	Anatolia_NF
    20.4	Iran_NF
    10.0	Caucasus_HG
    3.0	SSA
    1.6	West_Siberia_HG
    0.2	Eastern_HG
    Code:
    Target: Egyptian
    Distance: 2.3868% / 0.02386847
    Aggregated
    39.8	Levant_NF
    27.0	Anatolia_NF
    14.2	Iran_NF
    11.4	SSA
    7.0	Caucasus_HG
    0.4	South_Eurasian
    0.2	Iberomaurasian
The Palestinians get 0 Iberomaurasian whereas the Egyptians gets noise levels of Iberomaurasian (0.2%).

Compare this to Iberians who are often said to have minor Maghrebi ancestry:

    Code:
    Target: Spanish_Castilla_Y_Leon
    Distance: 4.5997% / 0.04599723
    Aggregated
    58.6	Anatolia_NF
    20.0	Eastern_HG
    9.8	Western_HG
    6.4	Caucasus_HG
    4.2	Iberomaurasian
    1.0	South_Eurasian
    Code:
    Target: Portuguese
    Distance: 4.1500% / 0.04150026
    Aggregated
    58.6	Anatolia_NF
    19.4	Eastern_HG
    9.2	Western_HG
    7.8	Caucasus_HG
    4.6	Iberomaurasian
    0.4	South_Eurasian
I don't know why they get South Eurasian, maybe the sample isn't very good and contains minor Caucasoid that gets picked up. But anyways, you can see the difference here in the Iberomaurasian between the Iberians and Egyptians/Palestinians.

For reference, here is a Mozabite:

    Code:
    Target: Mozabite
    Distance: 2.3995% / 0.02399484
    Aggregated
    41.2	Anatolia_NF
    31.8	Iberomaurasian
    10.2	SSA
    7.4	Levant_NF
    4.8	Caucasus_HG
    2.8	Eastern_HG
    1.0	Western_HG
    0.8	Iran_NF
