Is Empathy a Mental Disorder?

It is not rewarded at all in society. In fact, it is punished and abused by those who empathy is shown in to.

Why did empathy evolve in human beings when it is such a low return trait? Also, most human beings are not deserving of empathy in the first place due to being narcissistic self interest driven people. So why do we have it?

Do you think empathy will die off with each generation or is it a trait that will stay in humanity?

Only when people lived in very small tribes the size of a large extended family.

Bigger tribes had strict hierarchal structures that really did not support the bottom dwellers who had brutal hard labored lives and were only allowed to exist because they provided that for their tribe.

Empathy is always associated with lower intelligence and class among a certain population. Those at the top do not have such tendencies.

It can then be concluded that this is the product of domestication of human beings. This along with breeding for lower T and aggressiveness. Which makes peasants(animals of labor) easy to control because they won’t rebel.

Humanity is not supposed to live on this level of comfort. We are supposed to live in primitive perpetual warfare. So only the physically strongest and most aggressive survive. Technology has ruined this.


Given all that I know I’m glad that empathy is on its way out of humanity’s gene pool. And it will be fun watching what will be the consequences.

It’s funny you bring that up.

Moldova is the prime example of this domestication and use of “animals of labor.”

A lot of Moldovan people are generally good hearted and empathetic give you the shirt off their back types. Just a simple good hearted people.

These are exactly the types of people more intelligent and narcissistic people, like our great politicians, prey on. Moldova is paying the price of after years of pair bonding sexual selection strategies they bred out a lot of the warrior genes. If the warrior genes were still present amongst them the politicians and their children would be rotting outside with their heads cut off. And Moldova would resemble Liberia. This might seem like a worse outcome than it is currently but in my mind being a passive slave to the upper class and government is a much more fucked up fate.

Me personally I like balance. Ying yang.

You should give water to a person dying of thirst or feed a starving person, but if that same person crosses boundaries and disrespects you then you should have no problem killing him and his kids.
