    A correction for Italian.

    Piccioni is plural, while Piccione is singular (masculine)

    • il Piccione -> i Piccioni

    other synonymouses or birds of the same family :

    • il Colombo - > i Colombi
    • la Colomba -> le Colombe
    • la Tņrtora -> le Tņrtore

    While in Sardinian :

    • su Piccione -> sos Picciones

    other synonymouses or birds of the same family :

    • su Culumbu -> sos Culumbos
    • sa Culumba -> sas Culumbas
    • sa Tłrture -> sas Tłrtures

    No, Piccione is only singular and it's masculine. There is not a plural feminine.

    P.S.
    I forgot to mention another name used in some Italian dialect :

    la Palomba -> le Palombe

    it's similar to the same name in Romanian, Spanish, Albanian. All of them derive from Latin "Palumba -> Palumbae"

    “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Eph. 6:12
