How come when someone acts differently / unique, society puts some mental disorder label on them? People have different personalities, you can't just fit everyone inside a box. Like take for example this dude, he seems normal to me, and his only "social" problem is he acts too real and blunt in a world where everyone is fake like their instagram filters. If you speak your mind these days you will be labeled weird or something. Some of us JUST DON"T GIVE A FUCK, we're not autistic, we just dont care.

I do but not every child that is diagnosed as autistic is autistic, todays people over diagnosis children today because they don’t want to sort things out like bullying, it’s a way of helping bullies get away with their crime, usually when a child finds it difficult to make friends it may be a sign of trauma, Autism is a way of saying “let’s brush it underneath the carpet” when it comes to bullying.

That theory is being challenged. Autistic people have lower testosterone than normal average and show more androgynous tendencies in both sexes than normal. This is sort of suggestive of this being a byproduct of not enough sexual dimorphism in the breeding population causing a brain that is neither male nor female. (Due to lack of T in Utero) As autistics usually have low sexual drive in both sexes it makes sense. Autistic brain is the androgynous asexual brain IMO.

While this study suggests that autism is related with genetic mutations, not with hormone levels, which actually has more sense.

Yes, but it's also a mental disorder in a way. It's not the same as a personality disorder though.

And no ... it's not being branded on people to look down on them unless by some loud minority of idiots. Actually pretending that you are ''normal'' or neurotypical or that your child is such will only aggravate the problems it will inevitably face.

And having a diagnosis can help a lot in receiving professional help, the sooner the better that the OP is very much in denial of.
