- Ajami or inhabitants of Persian Iraq (Iraq-e Ajam). They speak a Central Iranian dialects. Their habitat are near of Hamadan (Tafresh, Vafsi), environs of Isfahan (Khunsar, Gulpaygan, Nain, Natanz, Ardestan etc) and south of Dasht-e Kavir (Khur, Abbasabad).
- Semnanis (named after province of Semnan).
- Tati. Live in provinces of Azerbaijan(Kharzand, Karingan) Zanjan (Tarom, Khoin), Qazvin(Alamut, Takestan, Eshterhard), Gilan (Rudbar).
- Larestani. Unlike the surrounding population, they are Sunnis and have own dialect. Chief city of Larestan is Lar.
