Cheddar Gorge, Somerset, South-West England. (The village of Cheddar is where the infamous English cheddar cheese is still made (since the 12th century,) and is left in the Cheddar Caves to mature. Cheddar cheese is always nice with a beautiful English Ploughman's dish on a summer's afternoon.... and served with Branston pickle sauce, of course;- you can't fully appreciate cheddar cheese without Branston pickle sauce!)

Cheddar is a parish in Somerset known throughout the world as the origin of Cheddar Cheese, which has been produced here since the 12th Century and to this day is still stored in the Cheddar Caves to mature.

Cheddar has a number of distinct aspects; the main village with everyday shops, banks, and historic buildings including the Market Cross (pictured here); the tea rooms and gift shops of the Lower Gorge area which also includes the Cheddar Cheese factory; the Caves and Gorge tourist attraction owned and run by Longleat (part of the estate of Lord and Lady Weymouth of TV fame); and the open countryside above and around the Gorge, which is part owned by the National Trust and is within the boundary of the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

There is also a wide expanse of flat moorland to the south of the village which is ideal cycling country.

    https://cheddarvillage.co.uk
I've visited the subterranean stalactites inside the Cheddar Gorge caves during family visits there as a child.

The entire City of Bath in Somerset, south west England, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with ancient Roman Spas and also an abundance of Georgian architecture, spas, sacred springs, and healing spring waters.

The most sacred spiritual place in the world... Isle of Avalon, Glastonbury, south-west England.

Like the Isle of Wight, Glastonbury is also known for its very popular annual rock music festivals.

The windmills in the wetlands and lowland area of Norfolk, East Anglia. The North Sea is adjacent to the east.

I remember my father hired a beautiful large holiday boat for two weeks with several bedrooms inside the boat for me and my two sisters during a happy family boating holiday along the Broads of Norfolk and Suffolk in East Anglia. We enjoyed visiting inside the windmills, fishing, and travelling along the picturesque area full of lakes and lowland rivers and windmills.

East Anglia is a geographical area in the East of England. The area included has varied but the legally defined NUTS 2 statistical unit comprises the counties of Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire, including the City of Peterborough unitary authority area. The name derives from the Anglo-Saxon kingdom of the East Angles, a tribe whose name originated in Anglia, northern Germany.

Tulip fields grown by farmers in the lowlands area of Norfolk, East Anglia, close to the North Sea. Although the English red rose is our national flower, tulips are very popular and are sold a lot here each year as there's a high demand for them amongst the English.

A few of London numerous parks.

    Lღndღn.

Over 300 tourist attractions in one city.

Also many of the hundreds of amazing museums and art galleries are free entry to the public!

Outdoor ice-skating rinks and the Winter Wonderland fairground
and the Magical Ice Kingdom for ice sculptures are popular here in the Winter.

The Ice Bar in London (where everything inside is made out of ice) is open all year round.

Tens of thousands of tourists visit the Winter Wonderland each year.
I went on a rollercoaster ride there with my son last year... and I was very shaken by the experience,
although my son enjoyed it.... but I'm never going on a rollercoaster ride again.
I paid Ł18 for the two of us to go that ride for a few minutes ... and it was petrifying.

The previous year I went on some rides with my work manager and work colleagues,
which was fun... and I went on some rides with French ex in the past there which was cool.

The tourists also like seeing the lights along Bond Street and Oxford Street
(Europe's largest shopping street with over 300 stores,)
and the charismatic and enchanting window displays in the numerous flagship stores.

Rooftop cinemas and sky restaurants are popular in London too.

Piccadilly Circus is the gateway to London's large and historic Theatreland,
which has the world's largest choice of musicals and theatre shows.

(There's also acrobats who perform there, and street artists in Covent Garden,
and open air ampitheatres in Regent's Park outside of the main Theatreland district.)

London's historic Jewellery Quarter is in Hatton Garden.
Lots of gemology schools are in this region.

The precious and historic UK Crown Jewels can be viewed along with 1000 year old Tower of London fortress.

Over 13 million treasures can be seen inside the British Museum,
and millions more treasures can be seen inside the British Library,
and the stunning, popular, and beautiful Victoria and Albert Museum.

Chelsea Physic Gardens is over 400 years old and contains medicinal plants,
and the 250 year old Kew Gardens contains the world's largest collection
of living plants from around the globe which is maintained by over 600 botanists,
and contains the world's largest library of books and drawings of plants and flowers.
The hand-blown glass conservatories, ornate victorian spiral staircases
are amongst the numerous grade 1 listed architectural structures in Kew Gardens.

There's also tree-top bridge walks there.

The Natural History Museum is another amazing attraction that's also free entry,
with lots of dinosaur skeletons, fossils, and thousands of exhibits on display.
Over 300 scientists study here each day.

London has 3 rainforests (one in the London Aquarium, another in Kew Gardens,
and a living one in the world-famous London Zoo - the world's oldest zoo
which is dedicated to the conservation and research of worldwide wildlife,
and contains many zoological research centres in the region.)

Over 300 languages are spoken in London and there's over 70 world cuisines
to choose from in the numerous cafes, restaurants, and popular and charismatic street markets,
with a large selection of tropical fruits and vegetables and even edible flowers in some markets.

Ballet dancers perform in the open air fountains in the summertime
    in Covent Garden's Somerset House,
and there's an open air ice-skating rink in the wintertime.
(There's another open air ice-skating rink by the London Eye in winter,
another in the Winter Wonderland in West London's Hyde Park,
another by the skyscrapers in London's second financial district area of Canary Wharf
in the Dockland Isle of south-east London which can be reached by the driverless sky trains,
a rooftop open-air ice rink on top of the London Aquarium by the River Thames,
and there's an ice-rink inside the large Westfield shopping mall in Stratford City, east London.
I think one may be proposed for White City in West London.
There's also an outdoor iceskating rink adjacent to the beautiful Natural History Museum
in Kensington & Chelsea in west London. )
