    Default Arab learners' corner

    Hello

I opened this thread to all the Arabian learners in this forum

I'm really a beginner.. I'm starting to read it.. For now we'll but I'm at the start

And I know very few words

I don't know what Arabian could apport me on life (practical matters or work).. Probably not that..
Its just that I have a passion for learning new languages

All I can say is that Arabian as I go on is beginning to be more complicated because of its sounds

Things like ع اْ يْ are hard for Europeans.. At lest for Italians.. We don't have an ع sound.. A is just a.. And pronounced always like a

when I was ten years old I was able to read Arabic script very fast In the meantime I can still do that, but a bit slower. what I still remember are the duas and surahs that I had to memorize. I know more than 15 even after 20 years.

Why do you want to learn arabic? I can barely speak it and I never learned to read or write it.

Because I like as a mental challenge learning languages

After I dumped some.. Like German because I hate declensions with irregularities on genders

I dropped Chinese for pictograms and tonal words

I dropped Russian because it's hard for me to pronounce it

I'm sticking on Arabic, because the pronounce is not very hard, and the script appears scary at the beginning but it's very logical and phonetic

بَيت or بَيْت still i have to grasp wich is more correct
Is similar to the Italian word "baita" that is not a classical house but a mountain chalet-house.

This is very curious, and fashinating
