    Right, our historical enemies are our best friends today, Assyrians, Persians, and Greeks are living proof to that statement.
    Only if Assyrians had their own state today, it would be most trusted ally of Armenia.

    There was a vassalage relationship between the Hephtalite and Sassanid. That didn't change until Göktürk rise.

    What LoL? As from 458 CE, when the Sassanid Shah Peroz I asked and got the help of the Huns to defeat his brother in the Persian civil war until the rise of the Turkish Khaganate in 560's, the Sassanids paid tribute (thus were vassal) to white Huns for over a century. If you didn't know that, it is not just fun.

    Stop polluting my thread with your Turkic propaganda, this thread is dedicated to Armenians' bravery in the Battle of Avarayr, and their struggle for independent Armenia to practice Christianity as their religion freely.

    Sure. Were there also Laz, Georgian, Albanian fellows fighting for Armenia?

    • Following the Seljuk invasions, the Armenians of Ani fled to Hemshin which had never been inhabited before;
      There has been continuous influx of Armenians from the south following the initial settlement; resulting in an armenization of the area through expelling local Laz or Tzan population;
      The armenization of the Laz or Tzan people took place through Armenian ruling dynasties.

    • Armenians and Georgians have shared long history with each other. Georgia ruled by the Armenian Zakarid-Mkhargrzeli dynasty between 1201 and 1360. The city of Ani was the capital of the princedom. The Zakarids were vassals to the Bagrationi dynasty in Georgia, but frequently acted independently and at times titled themselves as kings. Armenian Bagrationi Dynasty ruled in Georgia until the early 19th century, Bagrationi dynasty was a branch of Armenian Bagratuni Dynasty.

    • The kingdom of Albania emerged in the eastern Caucasus in 2nd or 1st century BC and along with the Georgians and Armenians formed one of the three nations of the Southern Caucasus. Albania came under strong Armenian religious and cultural influence
      In the 2nd century BC parts of Albania were conquered by the Kingdom of Armenia.
      According to Armenian medieval historians Movses Khorenatsi, Movses Kaghankatvatsi and Koryun, the Caucasian Albanian (the Armenian name for the language is Aghvank, the native name of the language is unknown) alphabet was created by Mesrob Mashtots, the Armenian monk, theologian and translator who is also credited with creating the Armenian.
