Greeks sources spoke about gálata and keltois , and Roman sources spoke always as far as I know about druids in Gaul.
Maybe druidic phenomenom started in British Islands, but I don´t know why you say it with so firmly.
During medieval ages, sources specially in Ireland start speaking about Druids again, as something "mythologycal" or from ancient and past times, but druids have dissapear probably during the II century anywhere.
So basically all we can know about druidic religion or phenomenom, comes from Romans firsthand (quite manipulated for political purposes many times), and after this is probably all invented.
Is something similar to what happens with the Celts, that sources are very unespecific describing them, and that term "keltoi" was created to describe many different people and cultures, related, but differents.
I am not any expert, but my overall impression is that most of the things attributed to the ancient Celts and their culture, comes from a romantic vision, in many cases manipulated or directly invented by a nationalist sentiment, and that if an ancient Celtic traveled back in time and was shown what is considered Celtic culture today, he would not recognize anything as his own.
Anyway, I don´t know if it´s avalaible the autosomal result of this individual, found in Kent, could be interesting compare it.

Ir´s not entirely certain that he could be a druid, but, who knows.
