Serbs are making a mistake. they should encourage turkey to annex serbia, which will piss of the eu. as a result they will speed up the accession negotiations with serbia. using the russian card doesn't work, not in serbia's case anyway. because serbia is pretty much isolated. bulgaria, romania and even western ukraine will be instructed by the eu to disrupt this cooperation.

Yes, and many other reasons like Kosovo. But main reason is simple that EU doesnt want new members anymore. Serbia for sure will not join EU before 2025. and most likely not after that for decades.
So what to do in meanwhile? Isolation?
I think is good idea to connect with other nations and organisations. Nothing wrong about free trade agreement with EAU (thats not membership).

Serbia in EU will be more bottom than Greece.
А сегодня в завтрашний день не все могут смотреть. Вернее, смотреть могут не только лишь все. Мало, кто может это делать.

i know the situation of kazakhstan after joining this union. the benefits were only from one side. russia ended up exporting tax free in kazakstan but kazakhs didn't get the same deal from the russian. even tho they import tax free, the russian goods kept the same prices while all the other goods comming from outside russia DOUBLED in price...and when i said doubled, i'm not exaggerating at all. it was a disaster for the kazakh economy. the life became very difficult, and everything changed very rapidly..in about a year or two. kakhstan is a very reach country in resurces, they could do very well alone but as all of the russian satelite countries they aren't allowed to sell their resuources directly to no one. the locals are indoctrinated to believe that it's better to support "local producers" and to tax the hell out of everything imported so u get forced to buy local stuff but the problem is that there is no competition at all and u end up paying a high price for a low quality product. and this "local producers" are only some "smart guys" getting richer and richer on the people's expenses
