Anyone been to Riga, Latvia?

I've been, but only stayed for a one night stop while I was on a different trip. Like pretty much every other capital city in Europe, the old town is by far the prettiest part of Riga. I'd also recommend the central market (largest in Europe afaik, or it was at least), and there was a bar/restaurant called Folkklub Ala that had good food and a pretty nice atmosphere. I don't drink but for those that do, I remember they served a loooot of beers if that's your thing (plus it's incredibly cheap).

They have a pretty nice cigar and whisky pub in Riga, La Casa. Worth visiting it. I was in Riga nearly a decade ago but the city has a lot to offer and see. My suggestion would be that you just wander around by foot, it is more exciting, your senses become heightened and you become more aware of what is happening around you. Since it is your first time everything will be new and pretty different from what you have in Turkey, be it a decaying Soviet bloc or the old town's architecture so just enjoy.
