Default Why do Mexicans/central americans have such a different English accent compared to Spaniards?

Girl in the black has the typical Mexican accent

Obviously there is a huge difference. Spaniard English sounds very southern European, I would never guess she was even a spanish speaker if I didnt know. Meanwhile the second girls accent sounds totally distinct.

Because mesoamericans have a different accent to spaniards. Duh. But I think that mexican/guatemalan/costa rican accent overlaps better with english since spaniards and central americans don´t proununce the "s".

Costa-rican & central colombian accents (although they have interesting similarities) are very compatible to speak in english with a very good and clear accent.

I've heard that Spaniards generally look down on the Mexican style Spanish. I'm used to hearing Mexican style, which I don't mind. I generally think all types of Spanish sound better than modern English although Old English and old Celtic languages were not bad.

I'm a mexican whos been to Spain several times i earned one of my college degrees in Salamanca University and many Spaniards treated me very well and liked my spanish accents so "spaniards looking down Mexicans/Spanish accent first time i heard this.

I don't know if it has anything to do with being 76% White euro since i don't look like the girls on the second video or "mestiza"

Yeah, I'm basing this on what several Mexican-Americans have told me. I have no idea if it is true or not.

You dont get it, just because theres a different accent or dialect wont make a difference if they're speaking the same foreign language. Ask an American to speak Mandarin and ask a Brit to do it and their Mandarin accent will probably sound similar.
