I think it's due on the fact that Mexican Spanish is heavily influenced from the pre-Colombian languages of Mexico like Nahuatl and etc.
In my view, Mexicans should learn their ancient languages in their schools and etc while using Spanish as a lingua franca of Mexico and Latin America in general.

Colombian accent is absolutely shitty. Mexican wins here.
I love Mexican "language" because its hilarious words (buey, pinche and such) but I admit Colombians also use funny words (chupar gladiolo: when they talk about people that are going to die). Not sure if you understand this because I doubt you know Spanish language.
Carlitos, SPANISH language from Spain also contains a lot of Amerindian words (more than Arabic ones): chocolate, cacao, chicle, puma... the list is large.
And contrary to Arabic words, we do use it daily.

I think I agree with you, old English (mainly Germanic Saxon) seems more attractive than modern English, I think modern English lost its identity with so many modifications of other languages.
It is a pity the case of the Celtic languages, I would have wished that the Irish and other Celtic languages had remained today, I am curious to know how they would be now.

Yes the influences are there, those influences can also be found in the Spanish of Spain, like Cristiano Viejo already mentioned
For mexicans to know their ancient languages, they would need to learn from what ethnic group do they ancestry from, that would literally cost a BILLION dollars just to get all Mexican citizens tested to see from what Amerindian ethnic group do they come from and also to trace their genealogy because migration within Mexico also occurredIn my view, Mexicans should learn their ancient languages in their schools and etc while using Spanish as a lingua franca of Mexico and Latin America in general.
Lastly, Mexico is not some small little island that only had 3 tribes, Mexico was home of the largest Amerindian population and the most DIVERSE Amerindian populations
the Mayan alone has 30 different languages, the Mayan is not a SINGLE language but a language group that consist of 30 different languages
Now imagine the other different ethnic groups from Mexico, because we dont only have Mayans, we have more than 30 different Amerindian groups in Mexico and all with their different languages
"The Mayan family consists of thirty languages. Typically, these languages are grouped into 5-6 major subgroups (Yucatecan, Huastecan, Chʼolan–Tzeltalan, Qʼanjobʼalan, Mamean, and Kʼichean)."
have you been learning your ancient language of the middle east? or do you still speak the colonizers language aka Arabic?
