Are Poles closer to Czechs and Slovaks or to East Slavs?

My Slovak family used to make fun of my Polish family, like they were low-class and stereotypically stupid, which I always found funny because they were so similar.

To me Slovaks seem phenotypically much more like Poles than Czechs, and culturally as well, at least diaspora culture in the US.

According to Global25 distances genetically Poles are closest to Ukrainians, then Southern Russians, Sorbs and Belarusians. Then come Slovaks but the difference is not big:

Of course Polish is considered a West Slavic language with Slovak and Czech. We are also using Latin script which is another similarity with Slovaks and Czechs.

Northern and NE Slovaks are closest to Polaks, aswell eastern Czech probably Ostrava region.

I think Ukrainians are closest to Poles. Not sure about the rest.

Slovaks are closer to poles than to czechs and poles are closer to ukrainians, belorussians than to czechs.

I am closest West Ukrainians, East Slovaks, East Hungarians from Csongrad

Father is closest West Ukrainians, South Poles, East Czechs from Brno, East Hungarians from Csongrad

Mother is closest Southwest Russians, Slovenians, West Ukrainians, East Slovaks
