    Same goes for the tomb believed to be Alexanders in Egypt. Yet, I’m not sure as to their fears, he was never an Egyptian.
    The tomb of Alexander in Egypt is probably located beneath the tomb of a later notable Muslim. Perhaps it is looted by now, but we know that the Egyptians were not allowing anybody to dig under the Muslim notable.

    Any covering of the truth in these matters has more long term ramifications than short term. Who cares if feathers are ruffled. People have a right to learn the truth. Whatever it may be.

    Or the ministry could be fearing for absolutely nothing and remains come out to support their long held beliefs.

    The ministry are simply idiots, but since no credible method to extract DNA from cremated corpses exists yet, they have a reasonable fear that nothing is going to be found, and the bones might be contaminated with later DNA, but unfortunately, they don't even lash out any reasonable excuse for their stance.

    Zeus was actually a real person once, and Alexander was still 1/4 Macedonian, from Argos Orestikon.

    Thanks for clarifying and proving my point. His statue in Skopje is fitting after all.

    Sure why not - I have no problem when foreigners venerate the royal blood line of Argos.
    “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Eph. 6:12

    Definition of untrustworthy and loose character are those that don't believe in God.

    He didn't have ancestors from anywhere near Uskub, and that statue is a joke, the armor is nothing like the one of Alexander the great... Not to mention other details...

    When Augustus visited the Tomb of Alexander in Alexandria to pay the respect, he gets asked if he wants to visit tombs of Ptolomies too, and Augustus says;

    "I came here to see a king, not bunch of corpses."

    ---

    Rest in peace Alexander, may God let us find your tomb.
