Default Why Does Everyone Hate the English?

Famous for his comedy alter ego, 'The Pub Landlord', Al Murray, the award winning comedian and history fanatic will find out what lies behind England's greatest feuds with its closest neighbours: Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Germany and France. Each episode will see Al partner with a local comedian and proud patriot (Antoine de Caunes in France, Henning Wehn in Germany, Fred MacAulay in Scotland, Elis James in Wales and Andrew Maxwell in Ireland) to explore stories of historic battles, massacres, riots and revolutions that have set the tone for our modern relationships with our closest neighbours. It’s the perfect opportunity to shake hands and make friends…right?

Few people truly hate the English. People have just got fed up with them trying to run everybody else's affairs.

Generally I think it's because of a poshness and propensity to attempt to force this high-society type bullshit onto "lessers". No one wants to have daily tea-time while their pagan culture is being destroyed (similar to how Roman Christians carried out their affairs in Europe, actually; England seems to have adopted their methodology directly from Rome, most likely due to the Normans. Things would be drastically different if Anglo-Saxons had won.) That's the thing: England ironically isn't an Anglo-Saxon nation. It's a Franco-Roman nation. England's 0.001% dictates the 99%'s mentality and behavior.

The USA has inherited this worldwide antipathy, except in their case it's not Franco-Roman but the Judeo-Protestant-Hollywood-Pedophile-Consumerist cult that dictates affairs.

In the XIX century they puted their noses in all of the mayor geopolitical conflicts in the world, thats the real reason they made so many enemies, same goes for the USA in the xx and XXI century, it's a no brainer.

The thing about that, is that people don't have a problem with successful invaders (because successful invaders turn the new generation of their invaded country into new adherents of their culture or ideology (think of the Bronze Age Celts, or Brazil, who respected their Portuguese overlords)

But England and USA absolutely failed in every land they tried to conquer; they tried to influence the culture of their invaded people but no one can respect weakness.

It's not just about direct intervention or wars, England has literally draw the frontiers of every modern nation in the last 200 years.

from Africa to south east asia, to south america. England, France and other european countries speculated in civil wars and local conflicts everywhere in the world, selling weapons, supporting sides.

And the worst part of all is the international financial system, it completely espectullative in its nature, it not about development.

Most of the time the large transnational monetary institutions gave money to corrupt dictators, when they perfectly know they will dilapidated it, they just want nations bound to perpetual debt.
