I always used YaTQA back in the day to change server permissions so that became impossible. I'm pretty skeptical of Discord since I don't like the idea that you never have full control over your own data, but I'm sure part of that's just me being an old fart and refusing to "get with the times" as well.

Ye I prefer TS too its much more simple and I dont have nerves to learn new software stufff, unless its work.

But you know if everyone had the determination to learn how to use some platforms that guarantee total anonymity... (They exist it's just people that are totally lazy to do some settings)

I dunno what everyone means with discord and YatQA or whatever but AFAIK anonymity does not equal security per se that is why I run the noscript, ghostery, privacy badger, and https everywhere plugins for firefox. I know how to be anonymous. Use something like TAILs Linux pay some kid to go into the store and buy a prepaid credit card then buy some bitcoin via TOR and fake mac address (you can fake your mac address in OpenBSD and Linux) from like some public WIFI spot and then buy a VPN with bitcoin. Once you have a VPN go into something like a Chinese store next to a coffee shop or use a proxyham from a distance and use free WIFI and use TAILs live CD then use VPN+TOR with the plugins I mentioned the other option is SSH proxy which is a poor man's VPN but SSH can be configured in a way that the NSA cannot hack unlike VPN and some TOR exit nodes can be compromised in an insecure way,

It's basically a pain in the ass to be anonymous nowadays. I just have TOR installed but it slows down my connection. I use Debian Buster Linux
