why this obsession for the ssa ? anyway it's not even equally spread in north africa so i doubt it's the case for the ME

Hmm, not really.
The early Semitic language which is the ancestor of all the Semitic languages today is a copper age language that originated in the Levant more than 5,600 years ago, not Africa, and that the J1 haplogroup is key to the Semitic migrations to other parts of the world like Arabia, Ethiopia and Eritrea and etc. Palestinian Christians and Samaritans for example don't have SSA admixture which suggests that the Arabs today got most of their SSA admixture during the height of the Islamic slave trade in Arabia and North Africa.

Agreed. It seems early Semites or even proto-Afro-Asiatics already had SSA admixture and it increased or decreased based on which populations they intermarried with.
A lot of the East African scored by Arabs and North Africans come from proto-Afro-Asiatics. Some academics even considered an Ethiopian hypothesis for Semitic Urheimat.
