It has already begun: several countries are already no longer buying American equipment, France wants to tax Google and Facebook, Britain, Italy and Sweden are developing a new fighter jet that will be the alternative for the F35 (and it seems to be going fast: it's expected to fly by 2025) and so are France and Germany.
Wake up and smell the coffee.

It's funny how Macron is, for one, doing exactly what the people want: taxing companies like Facebook and Google. There already are some solid competitors for Google in Europe so we will just have to protect our own market. I already use one: Qwant. Qwant also follows the law by protecting the privacy of the user.
Some alternatives:
- Bing (UK and France)
- Yandex (Russia)
- Seznam (Czech Republic) ...
- Conduit (Germany & Spain) ...
- Vinden.nl (The Netherlands)
- Qwant (France)
- Ecosia (Germany)
- Startpage.com (The Netherlands)
- SwissCows (Switzerland)
- Mojeek (United Kingdom)
- Givero (Denmark)
