Why do some races value aesthetic beauty, and others don't?

I'm reading a book now that talks about aesthetic beauty, and how Jews and generally Semetic people hate aesthetic beauty.

The author says Jews try to intellectualize everything, and they believe a person's entire being can be 'uploaded' on to a computer through merely the contents of their thoughts.

On the other hand, Europeans value aesthetic beauty. They see it in itself as a spiritual thing, as creating something that is closer to the gods.

Japanese perhaps are similar, and you can see the aesthetics in their design and architecture. Yukio Mishima spoke of the spiritual element of beauty in his book 'Sun and Steel'.

Meanwhile, communist China don't really.

My people, the Hindus, have a love of colour, of beauty in art. Not so much in terms of physical beauty though, as Hindus see the body as gross things that get in the way of the soul, whereas Europeans see personal aesthetics as a continuation of the soul.

So what is it racially in a people that makes them favour beauty so much? I dont think it's just iq- as Chinese and Jews have high Iq.

Afro-Asiatic cultures in general hate the physical body. They feel unworthy of having sexual desires and are ashamed of them, so they go to great efforts to make everyone else feel ashamed as well. Eurasiatic cultures, by contrast, embrace the physical body. Han Chinese are Afro-Asiatic? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've never heard of something like this. Or we can call them Afro-Asians only in this respect?
