Malaysia is SE Asia part of Indonesian Islands. People there had distinct culture from South Asian since very early times. South Asian is derived from the IVC since Holocene.

Nope malaysia is southeast asia. They have some influence from south asia though slightly in terms of culture and genes.

It’s part of a region known as Indochina. In between China and India in terms of culture and genes but genetically leaning more towards China.
