    Default Stephen King

Stephen King is an American author of horror and fantasy novels. His books have sold more than 350 million copies which makes him one of the most popular writers of all time. He has published 61 novels, many of them were adapted to film.
For me he really is the king of horror, I used to read a lot from him when I was younger, but I started to read his books again a while ago. Currently I´m reading the Dark Tower novels. Its cool how his books are all more or less connected to each other. I recommend the Dark Tower series and The Stand.
    Any King fans here?

His best book in my opinion is The Stand; they´re even make a movie remake of the mini series from the 90s.
But it doesnt look good, the Dark Tower movie was also not good for several reasons.

And please - do not watch the Dark Tower movie (or any other new King film adaptation) - they are horrible.

I like some of his works, but unfortunately, he's an absolute nutter on twitter. Also, he never liked Kubrick's Shining which is arguably one the best horror films imo.

Yea, you mean because he is very PC?
He is a little bit of a do-gooder, but why should I care, hes not a bad guy.
    Just a little starry-eyed.

I agree, Kubricks Shining is one of the best King film adaptations (even if it differs from the book).
