Majority of Levantines lived in cities, who were hard hit by epidemics and destructions. Peasantry of Roman Italy (coloni) were composed mostly of two sources: Aboriginal tribes (of Tyrrhenian, Umbro-Sabellian and Ligurian origin) and Roman colonists (mixed bunch of Latins, Sabines and Etruscans). The only immigrations, who influenced Italo-Roman population were Dorian Greek, Ostrogoth and Lombard.
The latest study into Ancient Roman populations (Moots et al) suggests Iron Age Levantines/Anatolians had a massive effect on the genetics of modern Italians (which we didn't need the study to know), in line with my above estimates.

Majority of Italian men genetically belongs to following paternal lineages:
in South Italy - J-M67 and E-V13 (brought by cardium ceramic culture)
in North Italy - R-U152 (brought by Villanova and La Tene cultures)
    Anthropologically Italians belong to^
South - Gracile Mediterraneans and Alpines
    North - Atlanto-Mediterraneans and Dinarics
    Linguistically they speak Latin-derived language.
Theory of Syro-Anatolian origin of Italians (especially Southern) was supported by Lothrop Stoddard and Madison Grant, who fought against non-Nordic immigration to USA. Genetics, Anthropology and Linguistics totally refuted this theory.

It's not a coincidence that modern Southern and Central Italians plot between Iron Age Latins/Etruscans and Bronze/Iron Age Levantines/Anatolians, neither that they overlap with Ashkenazi/Sephardic Jews, who are widely recognised to be around half Levantine, half European.

You exagerate the overlap with Ashkenazim which is limited to the most outlying regions. Abbruzzo, Apulia, parts of Calabria, Basilicata, Molise are at a good distance of Ashkenazim and even more Italkim.

+ seen maybe one or two times someone overlaping with Sephardi jewish. That's all.

Turkish minds - rape, destruction, mayhem
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Eph. 6:12

Definition of untrustworthy and loose character are those that don't believe in God.

I wonder if the Huns left any genetic remarks in Central Europe or Northern Italy. As you said, Rome may have tamed Germanics those times, but Huns were much more different than Germanics culturally.
Many of them were Christian and not barbarians... It is clear that people living far away ( more than 1000-1500 km far) from Rome border were still barbarians..
Also ancient Romans ( criminals... bandits.. murderes..) were barbarians in the beginning of Rome "ERA" under the thumb of ETRUSCANS.
