Suriname was a great deal as it had a lot of plantations that produced just what we needed to have. So for us, it was a good deal. I think the English are the most mixed people in the Isles... we've had Celts, Romans, Angles, Saxons, Jutes, Danes, Norse, Normans settling here. London is very multiethnic.
