Basic traits of Middle Eastern cultures are from the Persians. Architecture, administration, arts included. Early Muslims were rather turned to the Greco-Roman system with Umayyads based in the Christian-Roman city of Damascus, they were interested in the philosophy of the Antiquity Greeks and were facing the Roman world. However, the latent Persian and Iranian element showed up by formenting a rebellion in eastern Iran, khorasan before overthrowing the Umayyads. The new Abbasids were relatively more Iranian in culture and all aspects. The capital of the caliphate was transfered from the Roman influenced Damascus to Iranian-influence Baghdad which is near Ctesiphon where ancient Persians were crowning their ruler.

It wasn't just emperors, senators, scholars, philosophers, and doctors who formed ancient Arab presence in Europe, but also soldiers. In addition to Arabs, eastern populations in Europe also included Phoenicians, Aramaeans, Iranians, and even Indians, but here we take a look at the Arab element specifically the militant.

Among the oldest remains of the ancient Canaanite city of Byblos are the Temple of Baalat Gebal ("The Lady of Byblos") dedicated to Astarte (c. 2700 BC) and the Obelisk Temple, holding an obelisk dedicated to the war god Resheph (c. 2150 BC).
Numerous votive objects were recovered from the Obelisk Temple, including figurines attired with gold leaf and wearing conical hats, as well as an amazing gold dagger and sheath - all currently on display at the National Museum in Beirut.

(Ma'an) The grandfather of the Arabs from a text written in Aramaic from the kingdom of Arabaya(the kingdom of Hatra). "In the month of April of the year 460, I am Abd Nab ibn Nasharu, son of Alba, the brother of Jaramal the Leader. And I established a statue of the life of Ma'an al-Sayyid and Barzee and his two sons, the grandfather of the Arabs, on the 14th of a month .... built 460 days after ..." The year 460 in Seleucia is equivalent to the year 149 AD:

Coin from the Himyarite Kingdom of Arabia Felix (southern Arabia), minted in the late 2nd century BC. Much of the kingdom's wealth derived from its trade in frankincense and myrrh. It served as a major intermediary between East Africa and the ancient Mediterranean world.
The ancient city of #Petra was the centre of Nabatean civilisation, a real cross-roads of culture. The city’s Great Temple was enriched with hundreds of columns, the capitals of which were carved in the shape of elephant heads - a nod to trade with India & to Dionysus perhaps.
Two statues of two Nabatean Arab men. It is believed that the statue has a necklace. Returns to the first cult king 95 BC-88 BC
A Nabatean bust was found in the city of Ain Abdat in the Negev, Southern occupied Palestine in 2007:
Much better quality pictures of the ancient city of Qaryat al-Faw which was the capital of the ancient Arab kingdom of Kinda:
