Not true at all. Arabs originated in the north(modern day Jordan, NW Hijaz, Saudi Arabia, and Southern Syria and Israel/Palestine) while most of the inhabitants of Arabia in ancient times weren't Arabs or Arabic speakers since they spoke their unique Semitic languages that is close but distinct from Arabic. Arabians are genetically very closely related to one another, but they're descendants from different Semitic ethnic groups that inhabited the Arabian peninsula before they got Arabized.
