    Default DYS391=12 in R1b

Hi guys; I have noticed that the DYS391=12 marker is very rare in the Y-haplogroup R1b. The few people R1b that I have found with this marker seem to belong in all cases to subclate L21, characteristic of Atlantic Europe.

Is DYS391=12 only characteristic of L21 or does it exist in other R1b subclades?

    Default

Markers can fluctuate like a woman’s mood once a month but if that’s a stable marker then perhaps it’s only characteristic to L21
