Western European countries are rich and well-off because they have a lot of support. Strong trade network with their neighbors, and also the U.S. is HUGELY invested in the region (lets not forget who pumped Germany with TRILLIONS of dollars post-ww2 to get back on their feet). Additionally, population density of these industrialized urban centers is the highest, which kind of forces them to operate in the most efficient way possible. Eastern Europe never had the privilege or luxury, so take your snobby high-nosed elitist attitude and shove it, or we'll nuke ya.
