That's actually a Brazilian song but I am still interested in knowing how a Caucasian member got into a Brazilian soap opera intro from 1976! Don't tell me they broadcast Brazilian soap operas in Chechnya too?

That's actually a Brazilian song but I am still interested in knowing how a Caucasian member got into a Brazilian soap opera intro from 1976! Don't tell me they broadcast Brazilian soap operas in Chechnya too?

believe it or not, but that very song was the first I've heard when I was a toddler back in the past times, and Brazil TV series were/are most popular among locals in Chechnya, I even know a few who grew up watching a various amount of Latin American movies that actually made them want to learn the language and capable of speaking fluent Portuguese, including Spanish as well.. this might sound a bit weird though

Thats crazy haha. Maybe the Tropical vibe, a divided multicolored society and The life in the tropics atract attention of east europeans since thats so different to them.
