If someone verbally offend you, for an example, is it right to igualate or should we just stay calm and forgive them?
Religions like Christianity say we should love the ones that offend us,
Buddhist believe that if you act the same way as the aggressor, it will be changing your nature( they believe that everyone have a Buddha nature).
But we could also argue that we can punish without personal hate, like how we do with children, just because of the order of the good over the bad.
