I would agree if you were comparing Buenos Aires with Uruguay (because it’s known we are so much nicer) but central-Argentina are not like porteńos, you are nice and humble too. Also, RS are not known to be that nice lol, they tend to be cocky and reserved.
Thank you Annie, you are very gentle.
Probably sometimes I am too much strict regarding my own people hehe.
Yes, gauchos (RS) are known in Brasil to be a little cocky and not that friendly but I had awesome experiences with all of them I met. But who knows...
Regarding the germanic ancestry in Uruguay you are right, probably there came less volgian germans while came more swiss.
But of course in both cases the difference with is huge, RS recived a lot of germanic immigrants while Uruguay and Argentina recived far more south-europeans.
    So, absolutely agree with you!

True. But I think the "churrasco gaucho" (from Rio Grande do Sul) is perceived, in the Brazilian context, to be of better quality.

Sure, I bet it’s popular everywhere but in south Brasil it seems to be more popular. But dont take my word for it for it’s mentioned in the definition of “churrasco” in Wikipedia.

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Churrasco

“ In Brazil, churrasco is the term for a barbecue (similar to the Argentine and Uruguayan asado) which originated in southern Brazil. ”

As you see the article constantly mentions asados in Uruguay and Argentina as the main reference. Churrascos were created in the southern part of Brazil clearly from the same cultural line as the other 2 countries (which is gaucho culture). Also, the meat produced in Argentina and Uruguay (probably South Brasil too) is top quality, which makes it stand out.

Mulatos are part of what brazilians call blacks too. 7% of brazilians declare themselves as black and genetically they are almost mulatos on average. Plus I would say 13% of pardos are more mulato than euro trirracial. So Brazil would be 20% mulato as whole.

not really, ive seen many who look like her
it all depends I guess on the type of euro

plus that Uruguayan could have a white parent who looks northern euro, so her combination would not differ much from biracials in America
but the girl looks like many biracials ive seen in the USA

..Well then they're wrong, because technically, anthropologically, and biologically speaking , they are just that, Mulato.. Not white, nor black.. Mulato.

I thumbed you down because you said “ This isn't America, she isn't exactly 'black', she's a mulatto”. Last time I checked Uruguay was in America, but I think you know where it is, so my guess is you were referring to USA and used the word America instead, which is disrespectful, as if the rest of the countries were not in America. This coming from a latin in a latin forum makes it even worse.

Yes I referred to America.. as in the US... I was raised in the US for half of my life so calling the US America isn't at all strange or "disrespectul as Im used to it,. The US of A, as in United States of America, so calling the US - America, isn't so wrong .. Yes I get the whole point that the whole North, central and South America, is all "America", but generally speaking we all know and refer to the US as America (all around the world)...but that's an entirely different subject..

btw I think the right term for calling us all is the Americas (plural). I don't understand why people are so obsessed with the US calling itself America...
