You had to inform yourself first. Trains in Eastern Europe as a way of movement are not the same as in Western Europe.
Only low class people use trains because tickets are very cheap. They are also not maintained at all and every normal person would prefer to catch a bus or to rent a car. You can guess who uses trains in countries with high Gypsy population - those Gypsies who don't have horses.

I think it's creepy because it's associated with the Huns. They were creepy and evil.
