We visited Lake Sant Anna, which is only volcanic lake in the region and bears are common sight, they often came up on the shores. I was very afraid to walk around.

Transylvania is very charismatic with fantastic medieval cities, castles and architecture, but it is also kind of rough, very mountanious, ''dark'' and climate can be quite harsh.
It is still very authentic and worth of visit for those searching ''old Europe''.
