On top accuracy, 23andMe had the decency to update everyone's results at about the same time while Ancestry just seems to randomly select people to update. A bit unprofessional. I haven't received an AncestryDNA update since August 2018.Originally Posted by Mr.G
What is clear is that we cannot take these categories too literally- there is some inconsistency in the specific patterns of inheritance here. Example: Your grandfather scores Portugal, your dad does not, but you do. Clearly you inherited this ancestry from you dad
But if we just look at this more broadly, the gist seems to be correct.
I agree with you, 23andMe is better.
